The Town's legislative body is a five-person Board of Selectmen. They are
elected positions -- two positions for two year terms, three for three
year terms. At one time there was a separate governing body for the Village,
but in 1985 the two were merged. The Board of Selectmen meets on the first
and third Tuesdays of each month on a regular basis, and schedules additional
special meetings as required. All meetings are open to the public.
