Randolph Fire Departments
Welcome
to the Randolph Fire Department part of the Web Site. The Town of Randolph
has three fire departments-one in the East (East Randolph), one in the
Center (Randolph Center) and one in the West (Randolph Village). The three
fire departments were created due to the geographic make-up of Randolph-there
is a high ridge running through the middle of the town which makes it
difficult to access all parts of the town in a timely manner. All three
departments are staffed by volunteers. Without the commitment of these
dedicated volunteers, fire fighting in Randolph would not be possible.
The East Randolph Station houses a 2000 gallon tanker, and a new 2000
E-One Pumper with a midship 1250 g.p.m. pump and 1000 gallons of water.
The firehouse can hold a roster of 20 fire personnel.
The Randolph Center Station houses a 1997 top mount 1250 pumper with
1000 gallons of water (it also has on it pre-piped Hale Foam Pro system,
made by Dingee Machine Shop in Cornish, NH), s 2000 gallon pumper/tanker
with a 750 g.p.m. front mount pump, a 1500 gallon tanker, aerial ladder,
and a Scott Eagle Imager Thermal Camera. This fire station can hold a
roster of 20 fire personnel.
The Randolph Village Station houses a 1998 KME top mount pumper 1250
g.p.m. (holds 1000 gallons of water and was made by V Tech in Williamstown,
VT), a Rescue truck, a pumper/tanker with 1000 g.p.m. pump and 1500 gallons
of water, and a 1500 gallon tanker. The Village Department also provides
contracted fire protection to the Town of Braintree. This fire station
can hold a roster of 25 fire personnel.
All three stations respond to provide mutual aid to neighboring towns.
